| Due to extreme heat generated by the rotax v-twin I have added extra heatshields. They are plain and simple 2 mm pieces of alu. shaped to fit around the original heat shield but still hidden by the plastic covers of the can-am. The hot air is lead away from the leg and backwards. The heat is still significant but now I can actually leave my foot next to the CVT without the skin getting cooked. I'll continue experimenting with the heatshield next summer..... |
